Subject: RE: Drilled vs planted beans

20 miles west of Indianapolis Indiana
30” Planted beans early in the season, the 15” drill starting about mid May. If you’re considering buying one, I have a neighbor with a 15” 1530 Deere drill and his beans are always right with ours that are 15” kinze brush meter planted rows. The only reason we don’t plant any 30” beans early anymore is we have 2 dedicated narrow row bean planters and a dedicated 30” corn planter. Also still own a JD 750 7.5” drill in the event we have excessive help over the weekend. I’m a believer that getting the beans in as early as you can and ground being fit is more important to yield potential then row width more times then not
