Subject: RE: Self feeder

SC Wisconsin
I have a couple of them made out of old smidley feeders, this one sits 4" above where they stand so it sits flush with a 24" curb. All the flaps in a side are held on by 1 rod so I took them all out. Only time it's an issue is if we get a big rain coming out of the north but I make sure I get it cleaned out right away. Fines will collect in the corners so hot weather like we've been having ill clean the corners out a couple times a week. They work ok, not perfect but I bought them cheap. The one in the picture I built a little roof for it, the other one I use doesn't have a roof because it sits in a building
