The Tx and Rx can be confusing since it depends on which end you are thinking from.
The 2-2, 3-3 and 5-5 is very likely correct. Some situations need what historically is referred to as a Null Modem adapter. This is a throwback from the old Teletype days when one machine was connected directly to another without using a modem.
This pinout is correct. It is not a null modem cable, so doesn’t need or have the TX/RX crossed over. It is a communication/adapter cable. It has a 12pin DTM connector on one end, which isn’t even a std serial connector, so won’t likely be used for any other purpose than CNH Nav and Receiver service connection. It has an identical pinout to Trimble p/n 50166. |
