Short answer is NO.
However, it’s better now than during the height of Covid. Had a pen pushed back 4 weeks spring of 20. That was unpleasant. Been easier and more timely in recent months. Still have to go to Creekstone and they only kill NHTC on Monday which means we have to load midday on Sunday which I don’t like at all.
Premium is around $15/cwt on a carcass. No other premiums on grade or CAB, etc.
You may other options but our only one is Creekstone. They only take black hyded cattle. |
