The small tube rotor is for throughput on tough to thresh crops. By default, it isn't going to be very good on corn, there isn't enough threshing surface. A 9120 running a 16 row corn head can probably partly overcome that. Also, sounds like maybe some gordon bars would help. I think I'm going to put Gordons on the front of our Rochelle rotor for corn next year, especially if it's good corn. I've never been crazy about the sample of the Axial flow on corn, but I don't get docked, so, I really don't see a problem. They are a simple system, with few parts, that works. | |
