Wheat looks good here. Last rain of more than 0.2" was end of October. Most of our land got 4 to 5 inches in October with most of it coming in one rain around the 10th. We planted everything after that rain so we did not have to replant any. Humidity has been low for this time of year so the small rain/snow dries out quickly. It has gotten dry enough here in the wheat fields that the loaded tandem does not sink in at all even after making a dozen trips over the same spot. It has made for some good conditions to get lime on the ground that is planted to wheat. |
