central kansas reno county | The good thing about winter wheat is it's very Hardy. It that said we haven't had any rain on it since it was planted in October. Did recieve a little bit of snow New years morning and a week later but the wind blew it to the tree rows and ditches. It needs a drink and we will see from there. We haven't put any nitrogen down yet kinda waiting on some moisture to see what we got. Wheat usually has 9 lives, but not for sure what life we are on right now. |
