I always like having a twin at the first of calving season. Doesn't matter who you are, you are going to need a graft calf by the end of calving. I really hate the last one to calve having twins. It is a pain but raise the extra on a bottle till needed or feed the heifer like a dairy cow like has been suggested.
Can a heifer feed 2 calves?
