My pastor was raised in the Roman Catholic church and boy can he teach on "grace through faith" versus trying to earn your salvation through works. He calls that approach Bad News, not Good News! Ephesians 2: 8-9. Many churches have wrong teaching.... I agree about "religion". It focuses too much on what we do for God (and our sin-nature/pride is attracted to that, along with "boasting") whereas the Bible's focus is on what God does/did for us( and precludes boasting). "For God so loved the world that He gave......" I especially can't wait for that new body that will NEVER get sick, old or die! See ya |
