Not disputing your main point, but Picayune, MS is a long ways from Marshall County (about 350 miles). The state of Mississippi has completely different cultures in different parts of the state. The Gulf Coast area is a lot different than the northeast hills, which is different than the Delta, which is different than the capitol area (Jackson), etc. Northwest Mississippi (Olive Branch, Horn Lake, Hernando, Southaven) is now basically Memphis.
