Considering potential side effects on 22 thousand people that have to take the vaccine to save the one additional covid death, that doesn't seem like a great trade off to me. Especially for low risk groups.
In reality the low death rates on both groups are not significant enough to make any real determination. But it also says nothing positive about the vaccine. I would have expected it to have saved several lives if it were all that effective.
It seems more of a symptoms treatment rather than a cure. We have pills that can treat symptoms. | |
