Don't do it! I once made that mistake. He collected a full paycheck for many 30 hr weeks, but when we got busy, he didn't have time to give me a 50 or 60 hr week. I ended up giving him a pile of money, and he wasn't there when I needed him. Keep good records, and pay them for the time they put in.
