Thanks for the ideas … it is a nrcs project…I like the idea of put the waters in the middle …this is the only property I have no land that joins its 70 acres
I would plan to set yourself up with a minimum of 10 pastures--that allows you to move at 7 day intervals (usually when overgrazing of regrowth begins) and give each piece 63 days of rest (60-70 days of rest is commonly considered the minimum but may be optimal if you get plenty of moisture). |
