Southeast | Beat me to it.
I would make certain everything is running when checking for full load amps. Breakers work on the principal of I2T which is a percentage of current over time. The higher the current is (over the breaker rating) the shorter the time it will take for the breaker to trip. A weak breaker will trip below the rating following a similar curve.
If you are running within 10-12% of the rated amps all the time that will degrade a breaker over time. It has to do with the bi-metal inside the breaker.
If you are not running at or over current I would change change the breaker first.
Like others have said, it is easy to change a thing here or there and overload a breaker of that size over time.
Looks like a double pole breaker is about $30 bucks. A 3-phase breaker is about $80 bucks. | |
