SW Ohio | We have been leaving them in for over three decades, used to leave on center pin and hang outer end from a chain bolted to sidewall, one time had it bend the auger, and one time it broke the center pin support, now on one bin I hang it 100% from the sidewall above the level where it stops flowing, use a block and tackle to get it up there (motor removed as it gets used in two bins), 24' bin gets carried outside, 36' now just leave it on the center pin and directly over the intermediate sump, have to shovel a little bit to get it going but not too bad. | |
