Check and see if there are any regular monthly charges that are billed to the credit card (phone, utilities,etc) because once you notify the CC people those charges won’t be paid and you’ll have to deal with that. The CC people should be contacted ASAP. But their bill usually doesn’t need to be paid till the due date.
