Southwest MN | I put permanent cross fences in still torn if it was right thing to do. We rotate daily would be nice to graze off fencelines. As they are to scared to get close. I like the idea of steel posts and good braided poly and speeds reels. Easy to change a concept.
We have sheep broke to a single wire. You should easily be able to do with cattle. I would put more money in perimeter fence instead of cross fences.
My advice buy 6 good geared reels and good poly braid. And start rotating. The more you move them the more productive you will be. We stock at 110,000# per acre. Ideally i would rotate 2x a day but sometimes struggle to get 1 move a day. The most profitable equipment i have is my reels.
