We have a chest and an upright freezer. Wife is only 5’ 1” tall and can’t hardly reach the bottom of the chest so it has milk crates in the bottom. Most of the meat is in the upright so it doesn’t get buried. We get things down to where it will all fit in the upright every summer, so the chest gets emptied and defrosted when we can do that.
