Sumner GA, Located in southwest GA, | I really think the point you have missed is dealers. The tractors that are in an area are bought because of dealers, not because of brands. The way any company handles their dealers, along with their products, is where they will either suceed or fail. I like Massey tractors, not thrilled with them, but I won't buy a new Massey because of dealer support. The only 2 dealers in driving distance are pretty much their for the parts business. Both have other brands that they sell. You could order a new Massey, but they have their other brand they would rather sell. It would be the same with any company. One of the reasons John Deere is top dog is because of dealers. I think more people would switch brands over a dealer than because of the color. JMO |
