| I’ll be the odd man out here after being around skid loaders all my life. For myself, a small pay loader is so much more useful and easy to operate. Some models now even have extended boom option. The smallest pay loader can lift twice as much as the biggest clumsy skid loader. And wheeled skidloaders are less than worthless in soft or greasy conditions. Check out a series 200 Deere or Case. You’ll be impressed. A Case 221F is my bucket list item. Breakout force of 10,900 lbs. in a 70hp. machine. And will run down the road at 18.6 mph. Drive it from farm to farm. And maintenance is so much simpler because of easy access. And the cab is almost five feet wide, and much quieter. A case dealer will let you demo one.
