RR Valley, ND; MN native | There is a couple in the UK with 22 children (same couple). If said children had even 2 per on average, that is 44 grandchildren....
One of my ancestors had 22 children between 2 wives (1st one died after #9, had 13 more with 2nd wife). Those children were a mixed bag and many died in childhood,some never married or had children. There were 31 living grandchildren in total (some more did not survive childhood). Things were tough in those days. | |
