Nash County, NC | There is a HVAC product that is similar to fix a flat or green slime for tires. My AC guy told me that he has seen it added to units and last for years. He said he has also seen it be less successful that that!
I would guess you have a pinhole leak somewhere in your system. I had a similar problem. They evacuated my system, then filled it with Nitrogen gas and run the pressure up until they found the leak. I believe the guy brazed the pin hole. That solved a lot my head aches. I am not a HVAC guy but based on your description, a leak sounds possible. | |
