Southern Ontario | The coils are clean, I blew them out and had very little dust or debris.
Filter has just been changed about 2 weeks ago.
There has been zero leaking in basement floor the past few weeks while in operation, so I assume evaporation liquid is getting away as designed.
Update....the iced evaporator (above plenum) has melted.
Air flow has resumed, A/C is doing some cooling...too early to tell how well.
This melting of coil frozen material has resulted in some water on basement floor.
The church A/C guy is a nice guy and he did borrow a sniffer this spring, he initially got zero hits....but came back a couple more times and thought once something might be leaking at the outside coil condenser.....but then could not get it to hit again.....he seemed new to the devise.
He added refrigerant and it has been working well until this afternoon.
Is there a good way to plug a leak?
Thanks for all your questions and responses.
Stay cool
