Columbus,MI | What about doing the covers the fall before, then strip till or band spray your rows to plant into. With some planning you could probably plant the cash crop strip with a winter kill cover. I think I read that Dave Brandt does this with tillage radish. Let the in between row covers go all season and seed back for the next year or get some of those between row roller crumpets that dawn makes. Or if crafty make some out of an old row cultivator.
