Good comments. I may be underestimating the yield bump. 69 csr ground yields about 140 ave. on normal year. I picked 190 bu with water to be conservative. It may do 200+ but I just don't know. I just need to find out where my economic threshold is and decide. One problem is that I can only water 3-40 acre tracts. I it was a full 160 it would look better. The guy that owns the 4th 40 put a small pivot just to water 40 acres. Evidently he thought it penciled out.
