Just a stab in the dark, a lot of corn barely making it to hard black layer, before a freeze. Couple that with a slow cool and wet summer, and cool wet fall. Comes down to dry down. Havent seen these types of in field moistures this late in the year, especially in those areas of concern. It has been a perfect storm starting with a late fall LAST year.
