Nope….but it did the end of June and first of July. Most of the corn belt was not drought stressed at this time in 2012. The drought started about this time and the temperature cranked way up. Bad combination.
At this point it’s really no comparison. Des Moines IA forecast for the next 2 weeks has 2 days where it gets over 90.
If you think the drought of 2012 didn't start in the fall of 2011 then you are a moron. Just like the drought of '88 didn't start in the fall of '87.
