It’s 80 today with onions. Been across all of SD the last 12 days. Our corn in the south east part of the state is showing the most stress but it is 2x the size of the rest of the state. Water usage is increasing with size and it shows. Hilltops maps are spot on and I agree 100% with his opinion. A much larger % of the corn crop is under stress than was mid June of 12. 100 miles either side of Hwy 18 raises a very large % of our nations corn crop, and its very thirsty.
