You selling 3K, you buying 2K. Could be worth more if factory lockouts ( big spicer hubs) & turbo 400 and 205 transfercase( 4lowN2hi 4hi) on a round stick. If 208 chain drive T case (4low loc 2low N 2hi 4hi loc ) and a flat sided shiftier and turbo 350 maybe a bit less. T350 trans with 205 Tcase and factory lockouts not a bad combo either.
You are actually talking about a 203 transfer case. A fulltime 4X4 case with a case iron housing and chain drive. The 208 is a part-time aluminum chain drive t-case. In 1981 or so, it replaced the 203 and 205 t-cases.
I have a rust-free 1979 GMC 3/4 ton 4X4 with a 454 and 4-speed. I am asking a stupid high price, but no interest yet:) |
