| Did you check to see if you had power to the seat belt switch? If the engine starts it is doubtful the voltage is low enough to affect the operation of the circuit. An over charge situation may however cause you problems. With the engine off, KEY OFF, sit in the seat while watching the instrument panel, all the lights should light up and go through a self test just leaving the seat belt and park light on. Fasten the seat belt and the seat belt light should go off. If not, you are not getting power back to the instrument panel from the seat belt switch. | |
