East Central, Nebraska | deere itcs could have been fixed with a software update from deere but they chose not to. thats on them and the people that continue to buy their products. if i were you i would worry less about changes to the gps system and more about who i did business with as some 20+ year old systems still chug away while other companies including deere seem to use the possibility of decommissioned sats an alternate revenue stream. all they have to do is throw their arms up in the air and say "it wasn't us" and people believe them. i see it as cool new stuff coming down the pipeline and anything that is going to get shut off probably should have been anyway. keep in mind this is way bigger than ag. there is important stuff in operation today that relies on these sats. its not about us. | |
