 Sentera has another tool (that I have not used yet) is tassel count tool.  Having a original plant emergence map (and not planted pop map), a tassel count map (plants that survived thru the growing season) and a yield map would take analysis to the next level

 That would help, I wonder if there is a way to also factor in the height of the tassel.  When I fly over tassels spraying and see very uniform tassel heights, it's usually a very good yield.  When they are not uniform, yields are usually less.  When taking emergence plots to harvest by hand I see the same.  Tassel height and ear placement  and therefore ear size is related.  Simply counting tassels could give results that are off by 10-30% pretty easily.  Ground truthing is still required.
