Near-north Ontario, French River | Yes the newer high speed ( over 40kph) tractors and sprayers are creating an issue, as technically they can't LEGALLY display a SMV sign.. Having said that any MTO or LEO that writes that particular ticket is just being a richard. Couple years back we had local OPP pulling guys over , that were pulling NH3 tanks with pickups, and writing them up for displaying SMV signs on the wagons.. made them cover them before letting them go to. I believe those tickets were all tossed after the fact. Probably some young guy out to save the world through tickets. |
