since your getting gps i doubt this matters but just trying to help
Configure GS3 2630 Display to recognize device.
Select Menu button > GS3 button > Equipment softkey > COM Port button.
Select Profile drop-down and either select or create a name.
Select Com Port from drop-down.
Select Serial from Port Type drop-down.
Select Accept button.
