Do you remember if VTG was on? Whenever I see one brand sending serial gps to another monitor I always see VTG and GGA, sometimes other messages as well. I vaguely remember something about when Trimble sends a gps signal to JD that they need to change the number decimals from 8 to 6 or something like that, see if you can check that.
