You could put a dry tube on the back of an anhydrous knife. Knew a guy that had that on a Salford and Montag. I prefer pk placed 4-6" deep. Can significantly reduce rates in many soils and often increase yields as well. If nothing else it's more consistent availability, will reduce negative affects of less than ideal weather.
