25+ years ago living in a sub division eating supper lighting hit 2 doors down a guys ham radio tower. Came down tower guy wire and into the ground. Blew the ground apart a good 10' and was still smoking when we came out. Thought it hit our house, scared everyone in the area.. Man that's loud. No damage was done.
