Ron,

Seeing the same thing here.  From around 12:30 PM local time to about 1:15 PM GPS is almost useless.  Can't get enough satellites to  to achieve RTK lock.  We saw this one time back in the spring, but it was later in the afternoon then.  The orbit of the satellites is constantly changing.  From time to time you get periods where there just aren't enough birds overhead.  Glonass should help buy providing more birds to choose from.  But I have not used Glonass, so can't provide actual results.
