The company that is complaining basically has a monopoly in the community...
I think that statement probably says a lot. I'm not saying that their complaints are without merit, but I would suspect they're not too fond of a new kid on the block.
It would be interesting to talk to their customers and see if they've noticed any problems in their service since the new provider arrived.
