Pittsburg, Kansas | We have had lots of vaccinations in the past. Traveled to foreign countries requiring them in some cases. Used to do flu shots and have had shingles shot as well as pneumonia shot. So I am not anti vaccination.
Maybe some day. I don't see any urgency right now. I figure our risk profile is pretty low. We have been taking vitamin D3 supplement for at least a couple years so our D levels should be up to snuff. That is a BIG risk factor. Got rid of the extra weight a couple years ago. That would have been a BIG risk factor. Reversed my insulin resistance and got off all diabetic drugs so I think my diabetes risk has been minimized as my blood sugar is under excellent control. 99.7% of people survive covid 19 with the vast majority dying having the comorbidities wife and I do not have. So that probably cuts it down to 99.9% chance of not dying. Lowell will probably risk my life today following him around Arizona desert trails with steep mountain drop offs worse than that probability. :-) So some risks I am willing to take.
If that were not enough been taking ivermectin every two weeks along with quercertin, vitamin D3, vitamin C and melatonin daily. Plus a multi vitamin. We are going into low season now for the summer. Hospitalizations are way down.
I just don't see the risk/reward benefit right now. I may get more interested when they come out with the oral pill. Two companies working on that.
Maybe this fall after seeing how things shake out.
