Subject: RE: First time skid steer buyer

Nebraska, The land of corn and cattle
753 Bobcat is our first and only skid loader permanently on the farm so far. And it's been a good machine, big enough to get some real work done but small enough to be really maneuverable in tight areas. 4cyl Kubota is extremely reliable from my research.

I've run others and they are nice but the 753 will be here for a long time yet. I've done both hand only and hand/foot controls and they both have their pluses and minuses, and I guess I dont really have a preference.

I do wish we had a big track machine for clearing trees in the pasture, but those big ones don't have near the manuverability of my little bobcat.
