I just bought a JCB. They are the best option for getting rid of a forklift, since you get in and out the side, so the boom can be any height and you don't have to climb over or under. I'm still learning to use it, coming from a Bobcat with pedal hydraulics. It seems to have good power, and is very smooth operating. The engine doesn't have DEF or DPF and doesn't do re-gens.




Count me as another vote for not getting a skid steer. Anyone not already addicted to that habit is best to avoid it. There are better, stronger, safer options for a do-everything utility farm loader.
