When I started looking and never driven one, the pilot controls were the easiest for me to operate. The loader controls seemed close to tractor loader controls, located on the right hand side. Ended up with Cat as at the time they were only ones with pilot controls. I think they all offer option now. It is a personnel preference like a lot of machinery items.
