Subject: Harvest?..EDIT

Blvd d'Espair Bowhill, Sth Aust
EMU, How far from harvest do you estimate, and how does that compare to normal expecations ?
As Malleefarmer said,, at least 4 weeks here, and id suggest possibly longer, depending on the weather.
But then I have been warned that Buloke barley can surprise you.

Normally, I figure a day or so either side of Nov 15 sees us started on barley, but it has been an abnormally moist and cool Spring so far. If that continues, things will be delayed some. And its my hope that is the case.
I recall about 4 or 5 years ago we had 40C temp on Oct 12, which is highly unusual..did lots and lots of damage.

Edit I meant to say that there has already been some grain deliveries ( barley and peas ) from the super early areas of Sth Australia
