Tamworth NSW Australia

We grow forage type sorghum here but always graze it in the field so not sure on yields, but it does produce a huge bulk of quick feed when it rains in summer. I have never had hay experience so can't really answer your question. I think most of the oaten hay (especially for export) is grown in the south of the country. Most hay grown in this area is for farmers own use, except failed cereals which will be traded.
