Central NSW, Australia | NSW is a very mixed bag I believe. In my area (100km NE of Dubbo) we are up to about 9 inches for year to date compared to average of 24 inches per year.
Our crops have been decimated by very dry, windy weather since sowing. We have had one significant fall since mid July (seventy points in early September) . About half our wheat is being fed off by livestock; the remaining crops will yield half to one tonne per ha. (8 - 15 bu/acre) Our canola has been windrowed and may yield half a tonne per ha.
We are certainly doing our bit to improve grain prices by limiting production!
