The one locked to Verizon might have features not available on the unlocked one, e.g. included wifi calling - some providers do that here because they make more from selling updated phones than call fees by some margin.
The unlocked one allows you to switch by simply putting in any SIM
In most cases you may as well get the unlocked one.
So I have a "Verizon" phone now. I'm just looking at phones on E-bay and Amazon. Does my S7 Have a removable SIM card? Do I get another one? Just always updated through phone company before so don't know much about it. Have thought about switching companies so then there would be an advantage to the unlocked one.
