| I just upgraded a Kinze 3700 24 row with Ag leader electric drives and Incommand monitor. I also put on wave vision seed tubes so I do everything through the Incommand. I spent more than what I payed for the planter ($40k for upgrades) but I thought the electric drives were a better option then clutches of some kind. Eliminating the chains and bearing will be a plus and the ability to change planting rates and prescriptions in the future were some of my considerations. I haven't used it yet, but Agleader seems to have good reliable equipment. Make sure you do the upgrades to the planter you want (12 vs. 16 row in the future) it seems like the new precision eq. depreciates pretty bad and tough to re-coup costs when selling. Hope this helps! | |
