One of the things that is going to surpress SRW plantings in this part of the country along with wet weather is the PP option for those that have crop insurance. A person with 75% coverage level, and a 60 bu yield, can get over $140 per acre to not plant wheat. 70 bu over $160, 80 bu $190 per acre. In talking to people, most are rooting for ground conditions to be tacky enough till Oct 31 to not have to plant wheat.
