The "logging" rear end is out of a skidder.  Pretty heavy duty stuff.  I would be more worried that the frame would twist apart.  The 20 series still used the engine block for part of the strength of the frame, and hanging an 871 on there would be more than the rails were engineered to hold.  Personally I think it's ugly, but the new batteries could change everything.
